Established in 1988 and publicly traded on the Main Board of The Stock Exchange of Hong Kong Limited since 1993 (Stock Code: 716), Singamas Container Holdings Limited ("Singamas") stands as a frontrunner in container manufacturing, operating container depots, and delivering logistics solutions.
With its inaugural container factory launched in Shanghai in 1990, Singamas recognized China as a pivotal production hub from the very beginning. Staying true to this vision, the company strategically positioned factories in vital coastal ports, currently operating four state-of-the-art facilities. This robust and diverse production prowess allows Singamas to offer an extensive array of products, including dry freight containers, collapsible flatrack containers, open top containers, bitutainers, tank containers, offshore containers, and other specialized containers. Boasting a production capacity of 320,000 twenty-foot equivalent units (TEUs), Singamas ranks among the largest container manufacturers globally today.
Singamas' progression into logistics services is a logical extension of its manufacturing operations. Seizing the growing demand for logistics services within the global shipping sector, the company pioneered container depots in Tianjin and Qingdao as early as 1994. By 2001, Singamas officially expanded into logistics services, establishing eight container depots across China within a decade. Additionally, a logistics company was inaugurated in Xiamen in 2001.
While steadfast in advancing Singamas' growth, the management acknowledges that the continuous development of the industry is vital for the company's own evolution and success. Moreover, management remains devoted to investing in automation, environmental conservation, and workplace safety, underscoring its role as a responsible corporate leader that sets industry standards.
Strategically located across four factories in various parts of China-two in the east in Shanghai City, one in the southeast in Xiamen City, and one in the southern region in Huizhou City-we offer unmatched convenience and reliability for those seeking a sustainable and stable supplier.
